GENIN WA JIBUN NI ARU OSHI: Nagoya Ryota
in my journey deeper into the jpop swamp i came across operation ego and absolutely became obsessed!! genjibu has such a way of shifting into any genre and they always absolutely destroy any concept they tackle. i've made them a fansite as well...! my favorite songs are def mr.android, p-p-p-pero, operation ego, paranoid rendezvous and suiron teki ni uchuujin.
while ryota is my oshi, i have to say jun's vocals absolutely astonish me every time i hear him sing...really all the members are impressive in their own rights. fun fact kazuto of gnjb was in kamen rider geats.

&TEAM BIAS: FUMA Murata
i have a hard time categorizing &team because it's difficult to place them in either kpop OR jpop. i've had this discussion with a few ppl but anyways i love them either way..and i will say any time they release a "korean" album it's not as good as their japanese albums LOL...in my opinion...but that's cause with kr albums the music has a more kpop sound which can come off as stale at times. in case you're curious i've made a fansite for them as well!! my favorite songs are yukiakari, aoarashi, alien, samidare, firework, under the skin, big suki, sakurairo yell, who am i and illumination! my bias line is really FUMA...then k and ej.

LUCY BIAS: Cho WONSANG
THE silliest kband ever. i love groups with a unique gimmick to them and LUCY has a violinist in their midst! it really rounds out the sound of their music and it's super fun to hear. some of my favorite songs are haze, stove, snooze, my warm loneliness, i got u, unbelievable, watermelon, domino and never in wain! their whole discographyis really really good and worth listening to. they've done quite a few kdrama osts so maybe you've heard them before....i got surprised watching miraculous brothers and suddenly lucy was singing the ending song..!

SHINee BIAS: KEY (Kim Kibum)
actually! i spent some time in high school listening to shinee, making them the first kpop group i ever really listened to! but i didn't get like super super into them until i got into kpop in 2022. i love their ability to absolutely destroy any genre they want. if it's a shinee release you know it'll be a banger. my fave songs are hard, nightmare, hitchhiking, don't call me, view, atlantis, 10X, ABOAB, spoiler and dangerous (medusa ii).
